How sweet! My son has a similar habit, but he's chosen to sit on the bottom shelf in the refrigerator, pulling the door mostly closed while resting his feet on the floor (no way he can get stuck, as he can't get his whole body in the refrigerator itself). How old is your granddaughter? Our little one is 20 months. Perhaps a match in the making? :-)
OK, OK, everybody...I'm going. I just bought a cheapie (relatively) ticket for a brief trip in a few weeks. Also couldn't bear the idea of my Big Bro turning 80 without me.
She: My granddaughter is 18 months old. Sounds like we should set up a play date for the next time she and your son are both in the same country. (And then blog about it, with pictures to use for wedding entertainment in 25 years or so.)qbhazll
Yup. I gotta love technology and I gotta go see her.
And that ")qbhazll" in my last comment is an incantation we use here in the Middle East that means "Please Blogger, post my comment." But Blogger can sometimes be an angry Blogger and publish the incantation and then make one do it over. Better.
I would say you absolutely must. What a cutie pie. I love this age- and lucky you to be a grandmother! Thanks so much for coming by and leaving good wishes for Bill and the 322nd the other day- it meant a lot to us- and Bill was delighted!

Great bunch of great smiles. Cute little guy.
I say it's absolutely an emergency. You must see this child right away!

Absulutely precious. If you go, take more movies!
Oh the perfection of the little ones! She is absolutely darling. So happy you're grabbing some time to go see her (and your brother, of course!).
Fred - you know what they say in Hollywood: "The sequel is never equal."
Lin - Good to hear from you! It's such fun to share grandmotherly joy.
Yey for going, eizo hamudah!
