I found this bread box on the sidewalk today. It's amazing what people throw away. It's exactly what I've wanted, and already broken in, like pe-washed jeans!

ppb - I had a lot of fun making up scenarios to go with throwing out such a nice thing: "Get out and take your breadbox with you!" "No more bread: only rice from now on!" "That's the last time you hide the cat!"
Chancy - It photographs well...I don't think it would fetch much at the Antiques Road Show though.

That bread box is lovely. Almost too pretty to hold bread. It has an antique patina about it.
