I Am My Computer

Fellow list-makers, here's how you can become your computer too:*

1. Learn how to cross out items
2. Cross item 1 off list
3. Cross item 2 off list
4. Cross item 3 off list
5. Cross item 4 off list
6. Cross item 5 off list
7. Cross item 6 off list
8. Cross item 7 off list
9. Cross item 8 off list
10. Cross item 9 off list
etc. Cross item n off list
etc. Cross item n+1 off list
etc.

* "strike"Word or phrase you want a line through"greater-than" sign "/strike" "less-than sign"

Thanks, elswhere.

Now, how do I show the symbols+word+symbols "greater-than sign" strike "less-than sign" as plain text in html? (Old programmers never die.)

I just figured it out:
<strike>word or phrase you want to strike out</strike>

Noorster: I was in a nerdy frame of mind...must have been something I ate.

Udge: Thanks. You don't need an HTML crib sheet when you travel. Here's my secret: find a Blogger Help page that displays the characters you want, then "View/Page Source," then "Edit/Find in this page," and copy/paste That's how I found the ampersand and colon business, and I will continue to use this method so I won't have to fill the blogosphere with techy stuff. Onward and Upward with Content!
