My Son, The Lawyer

Hey everybody, my son Prowesslessnesslessness passed the Florida Bar Exam on his first try! I'm proud. Wouldn't it be a hoot if they wore white wigs in Florida courts? Then I'd know exactly what present to give him.

Hi Vanda - Welcome to The Spoon, and thanks for your good wishes. I will forward them to my son.

Chancy - Here I am, nodding, smiling, and resting on my laurels.

Tamar - It is wonderful. But the truth is, I wanted him to be a musician. Life is so ironic.

I agree. Better a musician than a lawyer. But passing the FL bar on the first try deserves a huge pat on the back. Mazel Tov to the boy!
And his proud mum.

John - A black robe would mean that he and his wife could dress up and wear matching outfits...she's a professor and gets to wear her robe plus hood at formal academic occasions.

Goldenlucy - Thanks. The "boy" is over 35, but he'll always be my baby.

Now my parents will know who to call the next time they get in trouble with the law! ;-)

Hey, congratulations to him... and to you, I guess. We are always so proud of our offspring, aren't we?
