It looks absolutely fabulous!
I've seen earlier (draft) versions, and I have to say the final product did turn out to be the best.

I like the new look. The beige with a pinkish tone is very nice, makes the text nice and readable. Also I love the portrait of Lucy on the silver spoon. And what a spoon.

Noorster - thanks for your valuable advice on earlier drafts. I trust your eyes.

Miriam - Wow! A comment from my favorite lurker! I'm glad you like the background color and the image. Oh, and the actual spoon is smaller than the picture :-)

Ah ... now this is a blog that was born with a silver spoon in its mouth. Congrats on the new look! Why, when I'm in an individual post, can't I click on your title to bring me up to your main page? I used to be able to ... is that something that can be put back?

Wow! Beautiful!

Very pretty, well worth the wait. Congratulations!

And I hope you enjoyed your week off :-)

An outstanding design!

NomChal, my DARling, how about clicking on "home" at the bottom of the page?

It's beautiful! I love it! Nice to have you back.

Beautiful! I love it. It has class, hon.

Nominally - I'll ask Julie whether that can be fixed. Until you pointed it out, I didn't even know that blogs had mouths!

John - I am so flattered to get a "Wow!" from a person of your taste and breeding (that South Carolina video was most impressive) ;-)

Udge - I'm glad you came back! Actually the time off was kind of strange...I missed a dimension of life that blogging provides.

Maria - Thank you! And welcome back from your cruise!

Liza - I'm so glad you like it, so we won't have to disagree about the color scheme for the wedding.

Jo - I'm all about class, dahling.

Definitely not. I think this color scheme would be perfect. Do you think the kids will agree? You know how kids are these days...

Well, not wishing to disagree with the wonderful Noorster (who is having troubles of her own) I second NC's wish to be able to return to the "home" page by clicking on the title. This is such a standard feature of nearly every website, that I think it should be implemented here too. The "home" link is nice, but it's not where nor what one is used to looking for.
