Home Sweet Home

I checked into the hospital on December 14, and was discharged today, January 13. That's a whole month, people! Not to mention going in in 2007 and emerging in 2008, and it did feel like a whole year. I wish being home meant I was "cured," but it doesn't: it just means I'm well enough to manage my ongoing treatment myself, and that's definitely something good.

I'm too tired to expand or expound just now, but I'll share some of the interesting parts of my experience soon.

Liza - Surviving a month of hospital meals deserves some kind of award, don't you think?

Claude - It is wonderful to be back, as you can imagine.

Hilary - Thanks for your inspiring messages during my incarceration.

Honi - I hope your first trip to Israel fulfills your expectations. (It exceeded mine!)

Sharon - I look forward to the next book club meeting.

Welcome back, your flat missed you! There's nothing quite like home is there. I hope you will never have to go through this again, fingers very crossed.

I think my parents will be happy to award you at that restaurant they want to take you to! :-) We might even be there at the same time again!

Liza - April 7-12. Date.

I haven't visited for quite awhile so I was surprised to read you have been released from a month in the hospital. I do hope you continue to get better quickly and that you are good as new, soon.

Maria, welcome back. You can't leave me alone for a minute! Look at the trouble I get into.
