Speaking of vegetables...

This was the antipasto course at our Shavuot lunch at Pasta Mia on Wilson St. It was superb, and so was the pasta. And the cheesecake. And the chocolate mousse. And that cream thing that Danny had.

I would have skipped the meal (as good as it looks) and gone right for the cheesecake, mousse, and that cream thing.

Fred, It sounds like you are from the "Life is short; eat dessert first!" school of philosophy. Except you've changed it to "Eat dessert only!"

Nominally, well all I remember is it wasn't tiramisu and it was a small white jiggly thing on a very big plate.

Laurie, Welcome! It was indeed fab.

Looks delicious, even to a carnivore.

Udge, many carnivores become omnivores in Israel. Sometimes the meat even gets re-conceptualized as just another delicious side-dish.
