Hairstyles are sooo interesting. Above left is my daughter, below left is my son. To the right are my twogranddaughters' hairstyles. Which one belongs to which parent?
Heh heh, the top one's gotta be Mermaid Girl, right???
We have interesting hair issues at our house, too. Husband: crew cut. Me: almost crew cut. 9yo son: shoulder-blade length ponytail. 6yo daughter: ditto, with intention of growing it as long as Rapunzel's. Neither kid: ever wants to wash it.
I agree, Mermaid girl is at the top right. I had hair as long as your son for many years, but now wear it in a crew cut (which I do myself Saturday mornings in the bathroom).
I used to have fun braiding my girls hair when they were younger. It took a while for me to get used to french braiding, but I finally prefected it. Cute little granddaughters you have there. First time to your blog so I don't know who is who.
Julie, Udge, Fred - Well I guess I didn't offer much of a mystery, given that you loyal readers know that Mermaid Girl is 5, whereas the Little Bear is 1.
Lucy Stern - welcome! I envy you your French Braiding skill. I watched the hair salon woman do it on MG, but it takes lots of practice, as you say. If my granddaughter lived closer...

I'll go along with the crowd and say Mermaid Girl is on top.
Funny seeing the braids. Some of my students are after me to do that, but I don't want to right now. Maybe later; we'll see.
